One of the few things we pre-planned this summer was a trip to John Ball Zoo on Kids' Day with our friends Matt and Sara Jewett and their son Blake. It was a bright, hot day and the place was filled to overflowing with kids and adults.

The latest version of our yearly pilgrammage to Grand Lake St. Mary's for the family reunion. Highlights from this year's trip include gale force winds blowing in across the lake, and Penn takes a tumble at the swings.

With June already gone, we decided to make the most of a beautiful day and headed to the beach in Holland. It was busy and hot, but a good time was had by all.
