Early in 1999, Kristen and I decided we needed to grow our family and we started visiting the Kent County Humane Society to find a cat. A number of visits and two-odd months later, we found Cleo. Initially, she was set to be adopted by someone else. However, when we returned a week later and she was still there--we took it as a sign. So we adopted a four-year-old female Persian who has proven to be about the easiest going cat on the face of the planet.
